On Februatry 11 the Fairhope K-1 Center participated in the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart. These evernts are held at schools nationwide and help students learn about the benefits of regular physical activity and heart health. They also raise funds to support heart research and educational programs. Coach Hudson and Coach Hymel of the K-1 Center provided the festivities during the students PE time. This year's theme was "It Takes a Heart to be a Hero". Students were encouraged to wear their favorite super hero shirt.
